Croeso i bentref Llanrug yn Arfon, un o'r ardaloedd harddaf yng Nghymru yng nghesail yr Wyddfa. Mae'r pentref ar lan yr Afon Seiont ar y gwaendir rhwng mynydd a môr. Saif tua hanner ffordd rhwng yr Wyddfa ac yr Afon Menai wrth Gaernarfon. I'r dde o'r pentref gwelir ucheldir Cefn Du; i'r de-ddwyrain cwyd yr Wyddfa a'i chriw, ac i'r dwyrain y ddwy Elidir gyda thomenydd y chwarel llechi.

Mae Llanrug yn un o bentrefi mwyaf Gwynedd gyda phoblogaeth ymhell dros 2,000. Lleolir y pentref ar y ffordd A4086, rhwng Caernarfon a Llanberis. Mae cysylltiadau ffyrdd ardderchog i'r A5 drwy Gapel Curig ac i'r A55 gerllaw Bangor.

LLANRUG our village............

The village of Llanrug is situated in one of the most beautiful areas in Wales. It is located halfway between Caernarfon and Llanberis, in the very heart of Eryri and the county of Gwynedd. The village of is on the banks of the river Seiont, and on the heath between mountain and sea. It stands half-way between mount Snowdon and the Menai Strait by Caernarfon. To the south of the village is the rise of Cefn Du; to the south-east Snowdon and its neighbouring summits; with both Elidir mountains and the waste-tips of the slate quarries.

Llanrug is one of the largest villages in Gwynedd with a population of well over 2,000. The village is located on the A4086 between Caernarfon and Llanberis. It has excellent connections with the A55 through Bangor.

 

EITHIN DUON FOOTBALL GROUND

To approach to ground off the A55 Expressway, turn off at Junction 11, and follow directions for Bethesda at the roundabout. Immediately take the right turn at the second roundabout and follow the B4366 for approximately 3 miles until you come to another roundabout. Take 1st left on to the B4547 and continue on this road for approximately 3 miles until you come to a T Junction, then turn right onto the A4086, and travel for approximately 2 miles. The Eithin Duon Football Ground is situated on the right as you enter the village of Llanrug. Light refershments are available at the ground, and two public houses are within a very short walking distance from the ground.
