What a contrast to Saturday's performance at Penrhyncoch, under difficult conditions the Anglesey curse struck again. The host struck early, but United soon equalised with a debut goal for young defender Iwan Price, a fine finish from a corner from the right by David Noel Williams. The second half proved to be a disaster if not an eye opener for United, conceeding six goals in the last twenty minutes.

LLANRUG UNITED
United had a very pleasing workout at a rain swept Traeth Ground. A deflected goal on ten minutes by Port debutant Marc Evans, and the experianced Chris Jones doubled the hots advantage on thirty six minutes. Despite the scorline United where not there to make up the numbers and threatened on the counter attack, of which Mathew Phillips fine strike was cleared off the line by Ryan Davies the host captain. United's defence lost concentration just after the hour mark, and were punished twice - Paul Roberts a second half subsitution with a powerful strike and Marc Evans doubling his tally from a Chris Jones cross. United rallied and finished the match on a high, a quick double strike by Gareth Eifion Jones gave United the momentum, but despite creating to great scoring opportunities they failed to capitalise. Gareth Eifion missed out on a hat-trick, a weak header following an excellent run and cross from the right by David Noel Williams, and a powerful strike from Mathew Phillips was sensationaly tipped over by the host custodian.
